- Gently clean with a soft brush or wipe clean with a damp cloth if absolutely necessary.
- Contains crushed walnuts shells that may shed a small amount of fine dust, which is perfectly normal.
- Contains walnut shells. Not suitable for people with tree nut allergies.
- If product becomes worn or damaged, walnut shells and patchwork fabric can be recycled or composted. Dispose of felt pieces.
My inspiration
Many, many years ago, someone gave me the gift of a handmade pin cushion in the the shape of chicken. I’ve always loved that pin cushion – and I still use it to this day for keeping my pins and needles safe – and I wanted to have a go at making something inspired by that cute sewing accessory.
I also wanted to try my hand at paper piecing, using scraps of quilting fabric, and this was the perfect project for that.
I’m very happy with how they turned out and love all the fun colour combinations.
